ElderCare is an automated and telephone-based monitoring and assurance service that automatically calls to check upon the well-being, safety, and security of our seniors--one, few, or many times per day.  See Background.

ElderCare is completely automatic and user friendly.  ElderCare will call the senior periodically according to a schedule pre-selected from menu-driven options selected by the senior, family, or caregivers.  See Detailed Procedures

If seniors prefer, they may call to check-in with ElderCare rather than have ElderCare call them.  They can also select a mix of both methods.

The frequency of calls to members is determined by a menu-driven enrollment process in which seniorsor caregiversmake selections according to their needs.

The automated telephone call to the senior will request the senior to press various keys on the telephone keypad as an indication of their state of welfare or requirement for assistance.

The action taken by ElderCare is response dependent and is also driven by choices during enrollment.  If a normalor anticipatedresponse is received from the senior, then the system will reset and proceed to the next scheduled event.

If an abnormal response is received from the senior--including no response--which may indicate the need for assistance, then ElderCare will automatically and immediately inform the members social support group (family, friends, neighbors, caregivers)through all available means, including voice notificationthat the senior did not respond appropriately, or in the anticipated manner.

ElderCare is dedicated in providing high value services to its customers.  ElderCare will provide increased security, a sense of dedicated caring, and a safety net  for seniors, while providing a sense of comfort to their families, and social and healthcare networks.

Aging, Independence, and ElderCare.  As our population ages, questions arise regarding dignity, quality of life, and individual independence.

  • Seniors do not want to burden family, friends, and neighbors.

  • Human nature drives the  desire for independence.

  • Most seniors want to remain in their own homes.

Sometimes, medical and mobility conditions threaten independence--when just a little checking would suffice.  ElderCare supports an independent lifestyle.

Safety, security, and physical well-being are constant concerns for independent seniors.  Sometimes, seniors simply have a need for someone to check on their health and welfare and to provide routine or occasional reminders.

ElderCare was designed to assist seniors who desire to maintain their independence; those who live alone and have a need for increased safety and security; those who are avoiding long-term care; those who may need an occasional reminder; and, those who are trapped in the "no care zone."

Peace-of-Mind.  ElderCare provides peace-of-mind to both seniors and caregivers.  ElderCare will provide increased sense of security, dedicated caring, and a safety net for seniors, while providing a sense of comfort to their families and social and healthcare networks--their caregivers.

Affordable Alternative.  ElderCare is very affordable and cost-effectiveparticularly for those on a limited and fixed income.  It is an affordable alternative to expensive, long-term care facilities and in-home companions, when periodic monitoring would suffice.

ElderCare serves the interests of several groups:

  • Seniors themselves, living together or alone

  • War-babies and baby-boomerswho have concerns for themselves and their aging parents

  • Caregiving networks for all groupswho desire increased peace-of-mind and personal time

  • Employerswho experience loss of productivity through employees having to perform caregiving tasks

  • Long-term Care Insurersthat could benefit by prolonging policyholders' reliance upon the provisions of their policies

Cost of Service.  The normal cost for ElderCare is $39.95 per monthif paid monthly.  That's peace-of-mindfor both seniors and caregiversfor a little more than a dollar per day.  Discounts are available.  See Special Pricing.

Payment Options.  ElderCare has a variety of payment options and offers protection for online, telephone, or mailed payments.  See Payment Options.

No Long-Term Contracts.   ElderCare does not have long-term contracts.  A senior, family member, or caregiver can enroll the senior for any length of time, but there is no obligation.  See Enrollment.
